Families start by submitting an application to The Nanny Network. Following the application, our Nanny Consultant conducts an initial consultation to discuss your specific needs and preferences for a nanny. We then explain our detailed matching process to ensure you understand each step involved.
Once you give us the approval to proceed, we begin the search for your perfect nanny match. We present you with 2-3 applicants to review and interview. To ensure a good fit, a trial period is arranged, and families receive a 30-day replacement guarantee. The business invoices you every Friday night for the week worked, and we conduct quarterly reviews to ensure the ongoing suitability and satisfaction with the placement.
You as the family will pay the Nanny directly as a W-2 employee. It is illegal to pay a Nanny as a 1099. We suggest paying your nanny through a Payroll company. If you don’t have a payroll company, we recommend using Landmark Payroll.
Nannies working with The Nanny Network provide essential duties, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching environment for your children:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of your children
- Maintain routine for eating, sleeping, and activities
- Perform children’s laundry, including bed sheets, weekly
- Clean children’s bottles and any dishes used during the day
- Sweep the dining area after meals
- Keep playrooms and kids’ rooms clean and organized
- Take out trash when full
- Use the nanny’s automobile for driving children to activities (car seats and safety devices provided by parents)
- Ensure the nanny’s automobile is well-maintained and sanitary when used for transporting children
Families working with The Nanny Network agree to provide certain benefits to the nanny. This includes the following:
- Offer your Nanny a W-2 to be paid on payroll
- Guaranteed hours
- Good open communication
- Mileage reimbursement when they are driving children to and from activities. The mileage they drive to and from work does not count. (.65/mile)
